RESOURCES / PROJECT CHECKLIST

Prepare an industrial wastewater enquiry

A practical guide for defining the information and interfaces needed for an equipment discussion.

Use this guide to prepare a project discussion with XIANG LV HUANBAO. Final equipment selection and commitments require project-specific technical review.

01

Describe the process that generates the water

Identify production steps, chemicals used, batch changes and concentrated streams. Describe whether streams are segregated, mixed or discharged intermittently.

02

Provide flow and representative analysis

Share average and peak flow, operating hours, sampling date and test results. Relevant analysis can include pH, COD, BOD, suspended solids, oil, nutrients and metals. The required test set depends on the wastewater.

03

State the treatment objective

Explain whether the objective is sewer acceptance, direct discharge, reuse or a pretreatment stage. Include applicable project requirements and how acceptance will be measured.

04

Explain the site and the existing plant

Provide a site layout, available footprint, power supply and details of existing equipment. For a plant upgrade, include current operating information and explain what has changed.

05

Define the procurement scope

State the project phase, equipment package needed and expected purchasing schedule. Clarify local responsibilities for foundations, installation, utilities, residuals disposal and operation.
